Where this is stored
In your browser's local storage, on this device. There is no account, no server and no identifier attached to it — the same design that lets every tool on this site run without uploading your text.
The trade-off is real and worth stating plainly: a library that lives in one browser does not follow you to another device, and clearing your browser data deletes it. That is what the export button is for. The file it produces is plain JSON that you own, and importing it merges rather than replaces, so a backup can never destroy newer work.
What can be saved
- Structured prompts — role, task, context, examples, constraints and output format, restored exactly as you left them.
- Agent configurations — model, system prompt, tool definitions and iteration limits, with the per-request overhead they carry.
- Skill files — frontmatter and body, validated as you write.
Why there is no account
An account would mean a server, a database, a password reset flow and a copy of your prompts on somebody else's machine. Prompts are frequently commercially sensitive and occasionally contain customer data.
Keeping the library local means this site never holds anything of yours, which is a stronger privacy guarantee than any policy document. If you want it on two machines, export and import — that is a deliberate action you take, not a default you were opted into.
