The short version

Anything you type or paste into a tool on this site is processed by JavaScript running on your own device. It is not transmitted, not logged and not stored. There is no server that could receive it: the site is a set of static files.

What is collected

Text you enter into the tools

None of it leaves your browser. Tokenization and cost calculation run locally. You can load a page, disconnect from the network, and every tool continues to work — which is a demonstration of this claim rather than a promise about it.

Local storage

One item is written to your browser’s local storage: your light or dark theme preference, under the key theme. It never leaves your device and is not an identifier. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Server logs

The static files are delivered by a hosting provider which, like all web hosts, processes connection data such as IP address, user agent and requested URL in order to serve the request and to mitigate abuse. We do not operate an application server and do not maintain our own access logs.

Analytics and advertising

At present the site runs no analytics and no advertising. When either is introduced this policy will be updated before it goes live, and visitors in jurisdictions requiring prior consent will be asked for it before any non-essential script executes. Space for advertising is reserved in the page layout already, but no ad code is loaded.

What is never done

  • No account, login or profile — there is nothing to register for.
  • No sale or sharing of personal data with third parties.
  • No content you enter is retained for any purpose, including improvement.
  • No cross-site tracking scripts, and no web fonts loaded from third parties.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and comparable regimes you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection over personal data held about you. Because this site holds no personal data about visitors, in most cases there is nothing to act on — but if you believe otherwise, or you want to exercise a right relating to correspondence you have sent us, use the contact page. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

Children

The site is aimed at software developers and is not directed at children under 16. No data is knowingly collected from them, and in practice none is collected from anyone.

Changes

Material changes to this policy will be published here before they take effect, with the date of change shown. Continuing to use the site after that date constitutes acceptance.
